Social, Political, Environmental and Public Administration Challenges
The 14th International Scientific Conference, ‘Region in the Development of Society’, will focus on selected aspects of regional development and international studies. The conference aims to share knowledge from economic, social, political, security, demographic, geographical and environmental perspectives. It emphasises a multidisciplinary approach, as well as the practical application of knowledge.

The conference fee includes conference participation, refreshments, a guided tour of the arboretum and an evening programme featuring live music and trip to Training Forest Enterprise of MENDELU, Moravian karst PLA, Pilgrimage site Křtiny. Payment is per article; the first author of the article is the payer.

The registration fee for active participation includes presentation of the submitted paper, personal access to all sessions and plenary session, copy of conference programme, organizational costs, conference bag, lunch and coffee breaks, social event in the evening. If an article lists multiple authors, the first author is considered an active participant and the others passive (provided, of course, that they attend the conference).
The registration fee for passive participation includes personal access to all sessions and plenary session, copy of conference programme, organizational costs, conference bag, lunch and coffee breaks, social event in the evening. A passive participant is also considered to be someone who submits a paper to the proceedings but does not wish to present it during the conference panels.
In order to receive an invoice, you must state this in the registration form. Invoices will be sent via email as a PDF attachment after the payment is made. Originals will be sent only if requested. If the bank transfer is ordered by a natural person, it is not possible to issue an invoice to a company or organisation afterwards.
The invoice will be issued in CZK.

Accepted article will be proposed for publication in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index, which is available on the Web of Science. Selected proceedings from previous years are already included in this index.
Submissions in the form of a scientific article (with an introduction, aim, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion and references) written in English will be accepted.
The maximum length of the paper is 7 000 words.
