How to apply

there are 2 study programmes in English, one for bachelor’s, one for master’s applicants, there is a note that the programmes are taught in English, do not create an application for programmes that are taught in the Czech language

Application form information:

  • B-INTSE (Bachelor – International Territorial Studies) 
  • C-INTSE (Continuing (Master) – International Territorial Studies)

there is no application fee (if the system is asking you to cover an application fee, you opened an application for a different program)

the application form asks for a secondary school certificate/bachelor diploma to be provided – HOWEVER, NO documents are required at this step, these documents need to be handed over during the admission process after the test, and there is no need to upload them into the application form, the application form is complete without any attachment

if you apply in the summer or winter period, carefully choose the term you need to apply for (see more details below in the text).

DO NOT CREATE multiple application forms – one applicant = one study period = one application form

both sections ( personal data, applicant´s address) of the application form need to be green (see the picture below), if the sections personal data and applicant´s address are red, the form is not complete and you will not receive the link for the test

DO NOT CONTACT us in case you lose your log-in credentials – it is not possible for us to send them to you need to click on the black arrow under the ´enter´ 


  • your application is filled correctly but still not submitted, click on ´submit binding e-application´

only now your application is fully submitted

Entrance test information:

IMPORTANT – starting with the admissions process for the summer semester, the online English test is canceled; this language requirement will be replaced by the need to provide a certificate of English language proficiency (more information in the admission section)

DEADLINE for September intake applications 9.8.2026

the online entrance test for September intake 2026 (winter semester of the academic year 2026/2027) takes place on the following dates: 19th December 2025, 9th January 2026, 27th February 2026, 27th March 2026, 24th April 2026, 29th May 2026

26th June 2026, 24th July 2026, 14th August 2026 – THESE TEST DATES ARE ONLY for EU applicants or transfers from other European universities/faculties (do not apply if you are under VISA requirements, apply for the summer semester February intake tests in this time of year)

the test opens on a given date at 11 am CET

the link and the code for the test are sent 12-24 hours before the test automatically to all the applicants who fill in their application form by the Monday preceding the Friday test

the link and the whole communication are sent to the email address used in your application form – check it regularly

the results of the test are sent within a week after the test date, kindly do not contact us earlier

a motivation letter is another part of the admission process – you will be asked to provide it during the admission process after the test together with documents proving your previous education (detailed information will be provided together with the test results)

the test opens on a given date at 11 am CET

the link and the code for the test are sent 12-24 hours before the test automatically to all the applicants who fill in their application form by the Monday preceding the Friday test

BACHELOR program

 The test consists of two parts – an English test (50 minutes) and a test of general prerequisites (50 minutes)

MASTER program

The test consists of two parts – an English test and the test Global Affairs ( 60 minutes) of political, economic, social, and environmental problems in the current world, a random set of questions covering the following topics:

  • Globalization and regionalization
  • Development Economics
  • Theories of Regional Development
  • Economic geography of Asia, Africa, and Latin America

APPLICATION FORM DEADLINE

the deadline for applying for September intake is 9th August 2026 – all the application forms received after this date will be automatically used for the summer semester of the academic year 2026/2027

during the summer and winter period, it may happen that two kinds of application forms are open – for the September intake of 2026/2027 and for the February intake of 2026/2027, you need to choose the correct form according to your status:

Tt is the beginning of July, you are already in the Czech Republic or you are not subject to VISA requirements, you are EU resident,  your nostrification is already processed, and you are probably coming to us from a different university, you can still apply for September intake of 2026/2027 (apply for winter semester WS 2026/2027) as your admission process will be quick and you can visit our office and provide all the required documents shortly after the test

Tt is the beginning of July, you are in your country of origin and you have not started VISA or nostrification process yet, you need to apply for February intake (apply for summer semester SS 2026/2027) as your admission process might take several months (nostrification/previous education evaluation – up to 2 months, VISA process – at least 3 months)
