We are excited to call our students to participate in the selection process for a scientific research expedition in Tanzania in 2024.
This unique opportunity promises to be an extraordinary journey into the heart of Tanzania’s diverse ecosystems and an invaluable experience for those passionate about scientific exploration.
You can apply for either of the two proposed streams of research:
- space orientation through map-reading-eye-tracking – Jiří Čeněk, Ph.D.
- community-based wildlife conservation and ecosystem services – Jiří Schneider, Ph.D. and Dr hab..Luis Inostroza, Ph.D.

- your CV in English (one page)
- motivation letter in English including justification of the selected stream, background, intended research plan, methodology and expected outcomes, cooperation with the others

Longlisted students will be invited for an interview planned for mid-November.

- flight tickets + 20.000 CZK scholarship
- training, data collection and data analysis under supervision of our academics – suitable for your final thesis or co-publication
- presentation of the outcomes for 1ECTS
