Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies
Our faculty was established in 2008 and is the fifth faculty of Mendel University in Brno.
The impetus for its establishment was the ever-growing importance of the region and its social and economic life. Another factor was the growing need to perceive the issues of the regions in context. This led to the foundation of a faculty that links economics, political science, sociology and environmental studies, as they influence each other and need to be perceived comprehensively.
During its existence, the faculty has achieved an international dimension. It is not slowing down and continues to work on its dynamic development.
How are we different?

We are small so we guarantee a more individual approach to students
We collaborate with professionals and our students have to complete a compulsory internship during their studies
We pride ourselves on our students’ constant goodwill and their great interest in their studies
Our graduates have a wide range of interests and choose their career according to what they enjoy
We have our own international projects that you can participate in
