The project meeting again presented successful projects and practices that are sustainable and environmentally friendly and could become an inspiration for many other cities and organisations.
For example, the Partnership Foundation’s Moravian Wine Trails project, which promotes sustainable tourism through the construction of cycle paths.
The climate change adaptation strategy and mitigation measures of the municipality of Tišnov, on which scientists from FRRMS also collaborated, were also presented.
In practice, the participants then met and learned about the revitalization project in the Obelisk Game Reserve, where the owners are trying to restore the historic floodplain landscape to its original character and contribute to the return of native plant and animal species.
There was also a presentation of the South Moravian Region and an excursion to the local campus of the Faculty of Horticulture.
