The 11th International Scientific Conference “Region in the Development of Society: crisis, conflict, uncertainty” will be devoted to selected aspects of regional development in the context of current developments and contemporary social challenges. Thus, the conference will focus, among others, on the trends in the development of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which are phenomena that affect the security, socio-economic, regional and demographic aspects of regional development and international relations. With a multidisciplinary overlap, the conference will not only describe contemporary crises, conflicts and uncertainties, but also provide a deeper analysis of them and possible solutions.

Public transport: from the Main Railway Station – Hlavní nádraží by tram No. 9 (direction Čertova rokle), stop Bieblova. From the Bus Main Station – Autobusové nádraží / Zvonařka take tram No. 12 (direction Technologický park) to the Hlavní nádraží stop and from there take tram No. 9 to the Bieblova stop (direction Čertova rokle).
By car: parking is possible in the guarded parking lot in front of the faculty.

Entries must be submitted via the app at cirkular.cz/respo.

Accepted contributions will be proposed for publication in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index available on Web of Knowledge, where the proceedings from the previous years 2013, 2014 and 2016 are already included.
The inclusion of the proceedings of the 2017 and 2018 editions in this database has been requested and, according to WoS staff, the evaluation is still in progress.

Contribution format and instructions for authors
Submissions in the structure of a scientific article (introduction, aim, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, references) in Czech, Slovak or English will be accepted.
Each paper must include a title, abstract and keywords in English.
The maximum length of the paper is 5000 words.
