Dear colleagues, dear students,
a new semester will soon begin, which will be affected by preventive measures in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic. Of course, these measures will also apply to us, from government orders to rector’s or dean’s orders.
These measures are currently expressed through the Rector’s Regulation No. 10/2020 and the resulting MENDELU traffic light. The current color will indicate our responsibilities within the framework of hygienic measures, movement around the faculty and rules in teaching.
At the moment we have a green color, which means the following obligation for us in particular:
- Wear a mask or other nose and mouth protection in all buildings and enclosed areas of the university campus.Exceptions are employees staying in their own office, as well as all persons in the dining areas when consuming food and drinks.
- Disinfect your hands when entering the university campus
- Do not enter the premises when showing symptoms of Covid-19
- Contact teaching will be realized only up to the number of 100 people in one room. Lectures for more students wil be carried out online.
For easier orientation, the current color of the traffic light will always be posted at the entrance to the faculty.
I firmly believe that with mutual respect and rational and responsible behavior we will be able to keep the situation under control so that the semester can run in as standard a course as possible.
I wish everyone a successful start to the new semester and academic success, regardless of the complications that Covid-19 causes us.
Ing. Jiří Schneider, PhD.
Dean of the faculty
