On January 28, 2025, a professional workshop focused on the value chain of ESG reports took place in the premises of KPMG in Prague. The event was organized by academics from FRRMS as part of the NPO Green Deal project. The workshop provided a platform for discussions on current trends, challenges, and practical approaches to ESG reporting, as well as its significance for companies.
Participants learned about the latest regulations and standards influencing ESG reporting and engaged in discussions on how companies can effectively integrate these principles into their strategies. The program also included practical examples of specific ESG reports from various industries, highlighting key aspects and challenges. Special attention was given to how ESG approaches impact long-term business competitiveness, access to financing, and corporate reputation.
An important part of the workshop was the collaboration between academics and industry experts, which allowed for the connection of theoretical research with real business experiences. Participants shared their insights and discussed how ESG reporting can help not only with regulatory compliance but also with building more transparent and responsible corporate strategies.
We thank KPMG for providing the venue and all participants for their discussions. We believe that such meetings will further enhance the understanding of ESG and support a more sustainable approach to business.
